You may not currently need financial planning or wealth management. Until such time that you do, we will provide service based on your needs as they arise. Also, financial planning and wealth management services can sometimes give rise to additional work done on a specific need basis.
Our initial advice and recommendations
We may well be dealing with a single important issue for you at the outset – for example a mortgage or a pension – and it is often important for you to have that need addressed first.
When the time is right we will also offer you a financial needs analysis report. The report plots your progress towards your goals and is a great tool to help identify any additional needs or shortfalls you may have.
Ongoing financial advice and care
We will of course contact you with specific developments, reports or issues that relate to any advice we have given you or any outstanding products and investments obtained through us. For example, we will contact you when your mortgage is due for review or to provide a report and review of your investments.
We are proactive in looking after your finances but we are also available to help and advise whenever you might call upon us.
You may well have come to us because of that single need but the more you tell us the broader our service becomes.
How we are paid
With single need and event based work you decide which parts of the service you want to buy. You need only pay for those parts that you feel will add value to you.
We will always tell you the exact cost of any work before we start.
Inheritance Tax, Legal services, Trusts, Will writing and Estate planning are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority
A typical fee of £495 is payable when you apply for a mortgage. We will also be paid a commission from the lender.
A Mortgage is a loan secured against your home. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other debt secured on it.
Free initial consultation
The main purpose is to identify your major financial concerns but it’s also an opportunity for you to get to know us before deciding to engage our services. You can ask as many questions as you need. During this meeting which typically lasts 45 minutes to 1½ hours, we will discuss your specific financial needs. We will fully describe our services and which of them may be right for you, as well as explain our charging structure. There is no charge or obligation for this meeting and we will follow it up with an engagement letter setting out our proposed service to you.
